Ferlež Mill

During your visit you will meet the owner of the mill, Karol Ferlež who will tell you interesting stories about the history of the mill and the surrounding area.

In the idyllic gorge of the Kozarica brook in Šibenik near Šentjur under a high rock stands a mill, which due to its location was once called Mill under the Cliff.

The water mill is a two-storey building with all its milling equipment preserved. How rare and exceptional it is can be seen in its equipment, particularly the roller mill, still intact, indicating the technological level of the period when the mill was built.  All the technologies of the mill are preserved, from simple mill grinding equipment to technologies for milling a variety of grains, from the thirties of the previous century to the modern milling technology of today.

The mill has a special room which gives a historical overview of the milling activities of the Ferlež family; occasionally events are also held here. The mill has been declared a technical cultural monument and is now a museum.

During your visit you will meet the owner of the mill, Karol Ferlež who will tell you interesting stories about the history of the mill and the surrounding area.
