Would you like a perfect escape from everyday worries and haste? Step into the fairytale setting of a homestead with a two-hundred-year-old mill, where the waterwheel still turns.
At Mlin umetnin visitors are invited to join a guided tour of the house museum, which takes you back in time. Here you can discover traditional crafts – milling and pottery – in their authentic form. In the gallery shop, you can purchase unique and traditional pottery pieces. Take part in pottery workshops, experience the joy of creating with clay, and enjoy a truly special and unforgettable experience. Discover other traditional arts lovingly preserved by your hosts: decorative woodburning (pyrography) and the painting of beehive panels – a unique feature of Slovenian folk culture.
Relax by the idyllic Kozarica stream – listen to the murmur of the water, the soothing sound of the waterwheel, and the birdsong. Two friendly donkeys will also keep you company at the homestead. The location is also a great starting point for hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers.
